This printer is super cute. It’s only going to print in black-and-white but doesn’t need ink and comes with a ton of rolls of paper as well as a little markers to color things if you want to. Also has some colored paper and sticker paper included! It has an app which is a little hard to use, but not too bad. Prints photos very quickly and also has a way to make to-do lists or little notes and a small set of graphics for holidays and other occasions. Paper does curl up, so that’s something to be aware of. Very portable unit and I think it would be great to have as an activity for kids or for making to-do lists that look kind of cute, especially if you don’t like handwriting things or are motivated by novelty.

Right! So a wave of these mini printers has passed and there have been some good and bad ones. This one falls in the middle. The bad part right away is the plastic cutting edge. It shreds your paper. every. single. time. The other brands I’ve tested all had metal edges to trim the paper and this is the only one that has a plastic one. We see the results and lost a star here as this became very irritating for usage. Which is a terrible shame as the lines print MUCH better on this weird model I find. Crisper and darker and the machine doesn’t seem to be rushing to get it done, taking its time for quality. So the paper getting ruined fast or slow pulling to tear ruins just everything. The other star is lost for the app named [Fun print] being not as good as the other memolife [phomemo] app. WARNING – both apps and both printers DO NOT TALK OR CONNECT to each other. Meaning they both got locked down via software - losing points all over. It’s a simple Bluetooth thermal printer and there is NO reason to not be able to connect and talk/use each other, from alt apps. Marks off here. The app itself is similar, I suggest downloading both apps, using the PH one to “grab” and save all the sweet images, then load them on this Fun app and print via cheating haha. As for the rest, the packs of extra paper are the M02 sizing so they all fit in other mini printers – making the paper, sticker, and color rolls VERY good value. At thirty bucks at the time of this review, if extra paper is too costly, it’s almost worth picking up this “kit” and not really using this printer and going just for the paper roll packs. Overall it works, lines are very nice, value in the extra paper rolls, but let down by cheaping out on the machine plastics. If they trim those cat ears and spent it on a metal cutting edge it would have been perfect for the price!

You can also access your own photos and print them, although I ran into trouble scaling them properly but that might just be me doing something incorrectly. They include some markers because this thermal printing is just black and white. They also include lots of additional rolls. Because this printer looks like a cat and because of the types of little jobs it does, I think this would be a great item for a child or teen. It allows for some creativity and is fun to use.
